2004
A workshop, a belief, and a first order
Erhong started as a small precision sheet metal workshop in Hebei, built on a simple conviction: steel wasn’t just a material, it was the backbone the digital world would need. Our first real proof came from local telecom startups willing to let us prototype ruggedized server chassis alongside them — work that shaped the discipline we still build on today.
2010
Earning a place inside China’s internet buildout
By 2010, our ISO-certified enclosures were running quietly behind a meaningful share of China’s early data center and 5G pilot infrastructure. We didn’t win that work with the lowest quote — we won it by showing up on spec, on schedule, order after order, until buyers stopped needing to double-check us.
2016 – Present
Taking that same discipline global
Moving into international markets meant relearning our own standards for harsher conditions: IP66-rated cabinets built for Middle East desert deployments, modular low-energy designs for carbon-conscious European data centers. Today, seven smart factories and buyers in more than 50 countries later, the mission hasn’t changed — build the dependable foundation that lets someone else’s network, cloud, or city run without worrying about the box it sits in.

Helping a European data center infrastructure provider hit a 6-month deadline
A long-time European client needed to upgrade aging data centers for a major automotive client. Their existing cabinets were overheating, poorly cable-managed, and out of step with updated EU safety standards — with six months to fix it.
We supplied modular 18U/42U cabinets built for their exact specification: perforated doors and adjustable rails for improved airflow, CE and ISO 9001/14001-compliant materials, and a 30-day production turnaround on the first 200 units.
